Kids Who Care
Since I started this work for the children I have met some wonderful and interesting people, but I must say when I am invited to a school and the children are so keen and enthusiastic to help our children I have been moved to tears. Kids working for other kids is the most fantastic part of my work.
Church Lawton School
Held a number of sponsored events to raise money for the Happy House.
As a small school they were very successful and raised £272.90, folllow to find out more
Heyhouses Junior School , Lytham St Annes Lancashire have been continually supportive of our work since 2004.
Lytham St Annes Technology and Performing Arts College has been involved with our children over the past 2 years due to the hard work of two of the students who attend the college Louise & Charlotte Anderson. The Deputy Head Mrs Cherry Ridgeway is also very supportive and has lots of ideas and for how the college and the children can support our Happy House project, including organising a trip for around 20 sixth form students to visit our schools in Watamu.
King Edward V11 and Queen Mary Preparatory School at Lytham St Annes, has also been kind enough to encourage their children to support our children. One of their Harvest Festivals raised enough money to sponsor 6 children for one year.
